We won last time we made Iowa wear black in Ames (maybe the only time, too)?
We should just do C/C/G against Iowa and not anything special. Why play into their Super Bowl narrative?
If we have new stuff... like maybe black helmets/jerseys (cough cough)... Texas on ESPN Thursday night, only CFB game in the country, is the time to do it.
I think we break out the black uniforms and black helmets and Campbell tweets out #BackInBlack just to get the Hok fans all riled up

Can anybody make out what is going on with the helmet?
Something new? Or just the red with red masks?
It sort of looks like the gray color to me. Obviously, it's next to impossible to tell (purposely done, of course).
Looks like the same helmets we had last Saturday based on the glossy reflection. I would think/hope an anthracite helmet would have a matte finish.
To me it looks like the facemask is a different color (darker) than the helmet.
I may be imagining things but I'd almost swear they are teasing a gold helmet...
They almost look chrome, but then at the end of the video, they almost look lighter, like they could be yellow.
