God damn, those are ugly.
I think what we need now is to pull all of this together, leave out the radical alternate ideas of black, grey, strange helmets, etc. Give the administration or whoever the best ideas so far for a new primary uniform change, we can all agree on. Leave all this 'other' stuff for later. I'm obsessive enough that I'll try to do this here soon.
If you are gonna switch things up, go big. So i respectfully disagree. I'd like to see the funnel logo return though.
Good to see we are nowhere near a consensus. Do we agree on anything uniform-wise? Other than we should have some alternates
That's cool. Everyone's opinion is welcome, even better if it's done respectfully.
One thing I agree on is that 'amestoplease' needs to get involved again; his mock-ups and designs are so helpful. I hope he does, because I feel now that we will actually get a change soon. Another thing, I think many of us agree on is that the present "USC" lookalike uni has run its course. Maybe I'm wrong.

It would have to be like Stanfords black with just cardnial and no gold or very little.

Sort of related but not worthy of a new thread, but does anyone else wish we would coordinate with a team once a season for both schools to wear home jerseys?

This is too Arizona State "flaming helmet" for me, I think it's a little tacky.
Take out the lightning and darken the gray or use a red tornado, then maybe it'd be decent.

To help understand this, here is a quote from amestoplease, the designer (as far as I know) of this new, updated, and as of of yet, still unofficial 'cyclone' logo (hopefully that will change, and we can adopt this new 'swirl'):
its nearly impossible to notice on the jersey but i redesigned the 'tornado swirl' from the old 80s logo. i really would love to see the tornado aspect of our identity brought back in some capacity. i realize the I-STATE mark is here to stay but that doesnt mean we cant have some secondary mark(s) or options that can add to our identity. here is my little redesign:

I don't think you're wrong at all. I really want to move away from the USC lookalike uni and establish our own identity. Amestoplease has provided some amazing concepts and if there's any chance we're about to see a change in the unis then I'd love for Campbell to see some of these and how popular some of them were among fans here.
So true, and when looking at both side by side, our design is like the dollar general version of theirs. I can't stand them.

Personally, I think the dark gray looks better.

Agree. Iowa has already done the all black and I didn't think it looked that sharp. Our colors on gray could be awesome.
