I think the I State and the CyBlender are the best two logos.

Haven't seen this one before. Never been a huge fan of the bird-in-a-blender, but wouldn't mind seeing it revived on occasion:

I think that helmet could be bad ***, but with those jersey/pants isn't doing it for me.

Try to imagine a darker cardinal & gold (less ketchup & mustard) with perhaps some white highlights. Does anyone else like the gold/red/red combo?

I would be down for this. All white on the road with cardinal or gold pants at home.

Mocks ups like these would always look better if they were done like the ones amestoplease has done in the past, on a real pic. I agree, though, imagine this w/ more gold, darker cardinal, put some white accents, center helmet stripe, put the 'I-state' logo on helmet.

And I agree; I like the updated 'swirl' / cyclone logo as a secondary, and am not in agreement that it could never be brought back. Don't eliminate any of the good options. The 'bird in blender' logo is OK, keep it, but I like the new 'swirl' better.

White helmet fans...sharp uni. Would love to see this uniform concept played w/ some more, gold/cardinal pants, gold/cardinal lid, home/away variations...

I like it, but the problem is that form of the I State logo doesn't look like anything on TV until There is a close up. I like the I state logo but I wish there was a way to make it stand out better and be instantly recognizable.

Plenty of helmet logos aren't recognizable without a closeup.

No. Black is the primary color of UofI. Please God no never let us take the field in black and gold. Never ever ever.

I still say these are the best uniforms we've ever worn. Hell for branding sake we could wear them home and away. Also with the influx of alternate uniforms these days, I wonder if finding a cool throwback will be the new "hip" thing and we could be on top of it.

Agree. This is my favorite ISU logo of all time.

Our marketing department is awful (Sad if true; maybe they need a kick in the pants). Eliminating the logos was extremely dumb then and is still dumb. Nobody is saying that they should be used a ton, but we have some good logos when updated.

The primary should without a doubt be the I-State logo.
We should then have three secondary logos that we use relatively commonly.
-The bird in a blender without blue
-The current secondary logo
-The cyclone logo without the lettering. Do you mean cyclone 'swirl' logo, or some Cy-type logo?

Those four logos are really good.

I want us to look at what Missouri and Oklahoma State have done. I think they have the best uniforms in the country.
