New Transfer

Haven't had a transfer thread for a while. Chane Behanan out of Louisville. He is currently a junior. 6'6 250. Started on national title team last year.

I actually agree with you though. If you can't keep your act together on a defending national championship team, you'll probably find it is difficult for another coach to trust you.

Ya, we probably need a player that will still be here in 2016-17 to back fill for Nader, Niang and McKay in order for us to take a post player, although we do have to replace Hogue after next season.

Taking an immediate Guard/wing would be more ideal, IMO unless we land RV.

I would love to get him, but it sounds like he is headed to Missouri (he is from St. Louis). Missouri has had a lot of success getting top transfers.

I'm confused because I looked and it doesn't look like he has used a RS year, so theoretically he could come here either now or at the end of this semester, RS next year, and have a full season in 15-16.

No thanks. I think we are at a stage now where we can get transfers that don't have a history. See Nader and Kane. Good players from bad teams. I loved all the transfers we have had. But I think we can get someone just as talented now that isn't leaving because they got the boot from their team.

I feel like you have to screw up on a very large scale basis to make Pitino kick you off his team...

This is my thoughts too. If Fred is taking a big guy you'd think he'd either have to be young or so talented you can't pass him up.
