NEW Star Wars Teaser!!!!

The fight scenes with the fighters looked really good. But I think this trailer shows the reason for the name of the movie, the force awakens. It sounds like the Galaxy has forgotten about the force, the jedi, and the dark side/sith.

I agree with this. Looks like the female lead is exploring a downed Star Destroyer in the beginning.

Going to be cool.

Questions:

The non-masked guy with the main Sith dude. Is he being killed/tortured? Or is he just another angry Sith person? (That part of the trailer was pretty quick)

Where is Luke? Do you think they're going to kill him off in this one? Use him as the "Obi Wan" character in this film?

For anyone trying to get tickets, Cinemark's website is working, though very slowly, if there is a Cinemark theater near you. I got tickets for the first non-3D showing at Jordan Creek in WDM.

Luke is the guy with Vaders mask I bet

You see him at the end of the trailer with his back to the camera and no helmet on, he has a lot of hair so I don't think it would be Luke. I'd bet Luke is the guy with the robot hand in the brief scene with R2-D2.

Went to Fandango and they are still down, but here is the image tey currently have on their website. Well done.

CAN ANYONE TELL THAT I AM EXCITED?!?!?!?!?

I was actually alive when 2 of the original 3 were released. I grew up with the original trilogy. I wore out 2 VHS copies of the trilogy.

I had some of the original Star Wars action figures and playsets (thanks to my older brother.)

This movie has the chance to be SOOO very good. And I have a feeling it's going to at least come close to the hype it's getting. Much closer than any of the prequels did.

Thanks for the heads up. Got mine at Jordan Creek for the 7 o'clock 3d.

I got in line for tickets to the phantom menace midnight showing at the old riverhills at 7 in the morning. Here's hoping this turns out to be a better experience, not that the Phantom Menace was THAT bad. In fact, of the three prequals it is my "favorite".

I saw the Phantom Menace at the first morning showing on the Friday that it came out, but I think that was like the 8th showing with all the midnight showtimes they had. One thing I'm curious about will be the lines since there won't be anyone buying tickets the day of the movie. I'm taking my 6 year old so I hope it's not too bad.
