New Arrowhead?

Nothing is sacred in the NFL owners search for more money. Not saying Arrowhead is sacred but isn't it supposed to be one of the best homefield advantages out there?

But if they want a generic copy of every other domed stadium like every other NFL team then so be it. nasty.

PLAY FOOTBALL OUTSIDE DAMIT. This country is too soft.
Generally yes, I agree with this. But I would rather see playoff games being played where the weather doesn't give a team a huge advantage.

When it is brutally cold, throwing the ball is much more difficult, giving bigger advantages to a team that is heavy run orientated. I prefer to watch high quality football rather than games where the winning team is the one whose style of play best fit the elements

The concrete is slowly chipping away. I never said it wasn't structurally sound. Look it up. Its slowly turning to dust.

That may be, but unless the steel has yielded within the concrete, my guess is they're not going to deem it structurally deficient. I'd imagine it's been thoroughly inspected. If not, that's huge negligence.

That being said, in your defense its amazing what people will ignore until they have to address something. The Hilton south stairs are a mess. We designed the scaffold you see beneath and A. they didn't even put near what I designed and B. they told me it'd be just for a couple months (it's been a couple years). I was told they aren't actually going to fix the stairs until they can lump it within a capital project.

Future site of Big 12 Football Championship game? Future site of multiple NCAA Final Fours?

Kansas City holds the record for most Final Fours hosted, even though they haven't hosted one since 1988.
I didn't even think about that... If a dome stadium would get a Big 12 Championship, then I am all for Kansas!

Kansas City doesn't have any cold weather advantage against 90% of the teams they play at home. Playoff games there in January are miserable for people like me who freeze their asses off. Not teams like the Bills. Id love a retractable roof

I don't think structural deficiency has anything to do with it. I just don't think they want to keep putting lipstick on a pig by renovating it again when they could build a entire new facility.

gonna be interesting to see if they Jack up ticket prices and add PSL’s.

PSL's are a given. Why wouldn't the owner do that given the support the team has? He has way less leverage to add costs if the taxpayers help pay for it though.

I guess to not be taking 3 billion dollars of taxpayer money and then making it so expensive regular taxpayers can’t afford to go?

I love sports but I’m sick of all of this

What are PSL's?
Personal seat licenses. Then your have to buy tickets for those seats on top of that. Like the various Clubs ISU has where you make a donation then still have to pay for the good seats. The cost for each license and the length/term varies.

I really like what the packers did recently when they wanted renovations to Lambeau: they sold more stock to pay for it.

Frankly I think all the teams should move to that model, but I know the NFL and owners would never agree to it.

The issue with that is the freeloaders who want the team there and go to games but refuse to chip in on the stadium upgrades.

The stadium upgrades were financed by a new stock sale. It was either new people buying stock or people that previously had stock buying more of it.

So your issue doesn’t really make sense here
