Good news is the team is really young. Add an impact transfer or two, and hope that either Rojas or Swiderski can be impact freshman and we should continue to rise the rankings. Steady climb that isn't going as fast as a lot of fans had hoped, but there is still progress being made

Building a program the right way takes time. All those kids looking up to Carr right now wanting to wrestle for the cyclones are still young. Hopefully we are set for years to come

No ****. I feel like it should be. Kysen is healthy and has a year under his belt and is capable as he’s shown. Ramazan is coming off his best weekend. Parker is Parker if he doesn’t have the sh*ts or whatever. And Degen is healthy… who the hell knows but it will be damn fun to watch one last time!!

I just hope Degen and Parker win in R1, and go from there. I actually want to see Degen and Yianni. I know Yianni is elite, but has he ever wrestled a 7 footer?

The “Virtual NCAAs” Twitter account (@Vncaas, if interested) has only Carr and Coleman winning their 1st round matches. Carr by TF over UNI and Coleman by decision.

I realize this is just a “fun” thing for the people who run that account, but not much faith in our guys there.

Most of the results were fair. He had Terukina losing in OT to Mastro, Ian has struggled recently, and then Yonger losing 9-8 to Amos. However, I think we win 4 (Carr, Coleman, Bastida, and then one of Parker/Degen)

That would be a weird match. Degen letting the opponent get to his legs isn't a great idea against Diakomihalis. He finishes way to cleanly.
