The move to take Duncan out of the game at the end might have lost it. The heat kept getting offensive boards. Bosh played huge at end of reg and OT and Allen hit the biggest 3 of his career. Lebron put them in that position. Say what you will about him. He busted his *** that 4th quarter.
I felt like Green stopped looking for his shot after a couple misses and Ginobli once again was a liability most of the time.
I don't like the heat but I love basketball and that was a freakin fun game to watch
Pop made several questionable coaching moves down the stretch. Just got badly outcoached by Spoelstra at the end.
This is one hilarious post here. What was the great "coaching move" that Spo made? He didn't sub after Wade came in for Miller. Tell us... what exactly did Spo do?
Yeah I agree. The one bad mistake I thought Pop made was not calling a timeout to get Parker back in for the last possession. The rest of them were understandable.
Taking Duncan out was very similar to Vogel taking Hibbert out. The difference is that a two would have won against Indiana so taking out your rim protector was stupid. In the Spurs case, the Heat needed a three so a rim protector wasn't needed.
I thought both coaches got stubborn with their lineups late in the 4th and OT. Manu and Wade were trading bad plays there at the end. It's not a coincidence that for much of this series, both teams have been better with them on the bench.

Did they have a timeout left? For some reason I was thinking they had just used up their last one.
yes, i think they had two or three left actually. They're given a full compliment of timeouts for overtime.
A tweet from Dan Le Batard:
"Heat were preparing to protest illegal substitution of Duncan w 5 secs during Allen review. Could have had game-winner, trophy and overturn"
I didn't even notice this in real time. It didn't end up mattering but that could have been a freaking disaster.
I don't get it. When was the illegal sub?
At the end of regulation. Remember that Tim wasn't on the floor to get the rebound? Well he magically appeared when the Spurs retook the court after the review (you are not allowed to sub during review stoppage).
Because Parker missed the shot, it rendered it irrelevant. What happens if Parker makes that shot though?
No, they were out of timeouts. That's why the review helped immensely...gave them an extra time out.Didn't they call a timeout after that review?
