NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

I remember this. I was only like 11 and wanted to watch but mom made me go to bed and she would watch it for me. late start 3 ot game was over around 1 in the morning. Because of this I never leave a game.

just so I get this straight, to prove his theory wrong you post a video of Jordan bumping an official while verbally berating him?

there wasn't a foul on that play, even if there was it was a terrible call as the Jazz player exaggerated it a tad bit proving jordan didn't get "all" the calls.

Speaking of leaving a game, based on twitter there were quite a few Heat fans who will forever tell people about when they was at this game but leave out the part where they left early.

Heat fans suck.

I see and I agree with you. Nobody gets all the calls. Stars get more than there fair share though, and Jordan certainly did.

reminds me of CyJack, then comes back after the comeback and talks like he knew all along they would win.

Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of fans like that, but the ESPN analysts were laughing at a bunch of fans leaving early. And there's been more than a couple times their fans left early.

Pretty sure we are talking about when people are being fouled, not doing the fouling

Well I predicted SA to win a close game. I think I deserve partial credit since they should have won a close game.

Spurs flop just as much. Just admit you hate the Heat because they are good, or conspired to build a big three, or you want LBJ to fail to make yourself feel better. The flopping thing is a joke, every level of basketball does that.

Find me a player with a more ridiculous compilation of flops. There's a difference between selling contact and just straight falling over to give the illusion of contact. Lebron does the latter way to much. It's a shame that he is arguably the most gifted athlete ever and doesn't have the mental game to back it up. I don't see him ever passing MJ.

Everything about the NBA, not just LBJ or any ther one guy, is I, Me, etc. Very little we and us. And that's why I rarely watch.

I guarantee you Manu has way more flops than anyone else in the league. The guy basically started the trend. Hell, James isn't even the biggest flopper on his own team.

you're right, though Manu isn't near as good as LeBron, which is why people exaggerate LeBron's flopping. NBA needs stricter penalties for flopping. If they don't already, they should have it where a certain number of flops is a game ban and then extend it based on how many more flops. I think it could work as long as the "flop" is obvious and not controversial.

FIBA has flopping as a technical foul, make the debatable flop a reviewable play. If it's a flop, give them a technical on top of the fine/suspension.

I've been a Heat fan since 2006, thought I took a short break from 2007 to 2010.

Good gawd I hate Heat fans.

Fitzy: Posts facebook status during final minute of regulation on facebook: LECHOKE
Heat fan replies five minutes ago: Very, very false
Heat fan: LeTripleDouble, maybe
Fitzy: He had two bad turnovers during the final minute of regulation that almost cost them the game, and if it weren't for Ray Allen, we'd be discussing why Lebron can't close games.
Heat fan: People will discuss it all they want. Best player in the league.
Heat fan: And not a choke, despite what people that have to hate would say.
Fitzy: You must not have been watching for the last minute of regulation then. A win covers up his mistakes, it's not hating. He had two turnovers in the final minute, that is called choking.
Heat fan: Eh, he messed up. Still put on a show in the 4th.
Fitzy: He could have scored 100 points up until the final minute, but two turnovers on possessions where they needed to score is choking.
Heat fan: Putting his team in a position to win, isn't.
Fitzy: You don't get the point.

They are blind. Seriously.

There is so much irony in the last line. Too funny.
