NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

I'm still holding out hope for Pacers, but If Miami prevails, I hope they kick the ever loving **** out of the Spurs.

@SportsCenter "Every year he just gets better and better and better. I told him I'm just riding his coattails." - Tim Duncan on Tony Parker.

And during the trophy presentation, the big 3 were off to the side while the younger guys took center stage. Spurs put the team in team.

Memphis losing is just further example of center-power forward basketball nearing extinction.

They basically couldn't guard anybody and were getting drilled by plays that have been run since basketball started.

Looking ahead, if Miami drills SA, that may be the last nail in the coffin.

Prolly has something to do with those weird grooves in his head.

Star Trek producers could save a lot of time and money on makeup and prosthetics if they just cast him as the next alien race. (exactly human but with some wiggles on his head)

Normally I'd refrain from mocking someone's appearance, but when a guy makes millions for intentionally falling on his butt while fake crying about it, who gives a crap?

It'll be interesting to see what the Pacers do for defensive adjustments tonight to counter Lebron's low post game. I don't think taking Paul George off him is an option, but I would like to see a double team come from somewhere. Even if it's West or Hibbert shading over just enough to force a kickout or one of the guards jab stepping down to force him to make a move before he's ready, they can't just let Lebron back his way to the basket on four or five dribbles like he did on Sunday. Lebron's a gifted passer and he'll probably make them pay for it, but Indy has to at least make him earn it.

Double teaming Lebron is exactly what the Heat want the Pacers to do. It may be Vogels only option I suppose. I do agree that if your choice is a Lebron 3 footer or a Haslem baseline jumper/Battier corner 3 you should make James make that pass.

I haven't been able to watch more than 3 minutes of any game in this series so I'm excited to actually be able to watch tonight.

Yeah, it's pick your poison for sure. But I'll let Haslem, Battier, and even Ray Allen bomb away from deep over letting Lebron get a shot right at the rim every time.

These officials suck but I don't know that it's advantageous for one team over the other. I just hate when Crawford is reffing the game.
