Figured I'd start this as the the playoff thread started going this direction.

The draft and NBA FA period has become more intriguing to me than the NBA regular season. Draft is this week and FA starts in early July.

If Karl is really trying to trade Cousins behind the scenes then he should get fired. Cousins is a top 5 C in the NBA and is a great piece to build around. You'd think he'd try to get along with Cousins considering this is likely his last chance at coaching in the NBA.

I don't think the Lakers have enough pieces to get Cousins

I have been hearing the Nuggets are interested.

I think I saw a Lawson + Faried + Chandler for Cousins and some rando.

D-Wade carried that team against the Spurs, no doubt.

Excellent points. LeBrick is Dominique Wilkins without Batman.

Can't see the Kings keeping boogie through this. Don't think the Lakers have the pieces to trade for him, unless they gave up that draft pick, which I don't see happening.

Why not? Cousins is as talented of a big as there is in the NBA. Ill take a 25 year old all star over an unproven rookie anyday.

They had a bunch of people on First Take talking about which free agents should stay with their current teams and which should bolt. Only one of them thought Butler should stay for Hoiball.

I feel like one of the bigger stories this offseason will be the Trail Blazers. They could lose Aldridge. Dame is still a pre superstar level player, but without Aldridge that is a completely different team.
