Fred disagrees. He said yesterday that Royce won't really raise his stock by coming back. He'd be 4 years removed from high school if he came back. He's gone.
Different interview than I heard.

Where's Eric Griffin from Campbell?? I posted something about Iowa's defense being terrible because they allowed him to go for 23 points/13 rebounds and Taco jumped down my throat claiming Eric Griffin "will be playing in the NBA". Funny, I don't see him anywhere in the top 100.
I would still come back. Mid first round is when you make the leap. Otherwise, you could slip to the second round and not get a guaranteed contract.
And this is coming from a guy for whom Royce leaving would be a good thing.
I wouldn't go by that guys list. Prior to the tourney he had neither Royce White nor CJ McCollum in his list. I don't think he knows what he's talking about.
if white comes back, he will only raise his stock, possibly to a lottery pick. He has a chance to really make a run in the Ncaa's as well....hopefully he decides to stay......still has unfinished business here in ames

I like Jeremy "Windmill" Lamb at #6 overall. Do NBA GM's even watch the players they're drafting or just pull names out of hats?
Jeremy Lamb has about every physical quality an NBA GM would want in a two guard. Watching UConn last season, I thought there was no question that Lamb would be a better pro than Kemba Walker and I still feel that way.

Shhhh. Royce might hear you.
Honestly though, if he will go anywhere in the first round he should go. He has a lot of things he seems to want to accomplish in life and that NBA money will help. Take it while it is there.
wrong, it's not an age-based issue..the class will be weaker and even if Royce doesn't do as good he will still be a first rounder for 2013....most sites say he's 2013..jmo
Absolutely age based for NBA drafts. If he stays until next year he will be 22 at the time of draft. I bet you only 2 guys that are 22 will be drafted 1st round this year. NBA loves young guys that are prospects.
