Maybe, but it is exclusionary, and even to break in depends on a lot of luck. There are many guys that could play at the level of the bottom roster spot, but not many than do. To get a chance to you need to play at a higher level than the bottom roster spot, just to get noticed. The bottom five spots of an NBA roster are no different than the entire top half on the DLeague. If you think he has a shot at playing DLeague, you think he has a stot at the NBA.
Will he ever be an NBA starter? No
What are you basing this off? Diante never seemed to be an Nba player, then boom 2 years later he's on a roster. Does Naz look NBA ready now? Hell no. Will he in 2 years? Who the hell knows.
I love the internet talent scouts. Pick up all of this insight on your couch? Your e-third eye showing you the future?
He's a sophomore, who knows where his career will be at in two years. If the kid works hard and continues to improve his game, I don't see how he would have any less of a shot than anyone else at the D1 level. There are a few guys each year that come in that were just born to play in the NBA (Wiggins), the rest of the guys that get drafted do it by working their *** off. To slight anyone still early in the process is just ridiculous and completely unfair.
I don't see Naz ever being one of our top 3 players. Let alone an NBA player.
There's nothing to suggest now that he can or will be an NBA player but you never know how much a player can develop over the course of his college career
He's a sophomore coming off the bench on a not very deep team so probably not. He's also short in comparison to the nba.
I'm scared to post anything in this thread because lord knows it will get bumped in 3 years if he somehow gets on a roster. He lacks size and versatility in his game so I would say his chances are low. He can still be a viable role player on a good college team for the next two years. Not a bad way to spend your time.
