DM needs new scenery. They should have extended him last Spring, and now he just needs to move on to somewhere else.
you can’t compare Mooney to Arob. Mooney is the top bears wr threat (maybe better described as the bears only wr threat). Arob is literally the rams forth best… that’s an apples to oranges comparison. Higbee is head and shoulders above any TE the bears can march out on the field.Ok, well, Fields has just as many passing Tds as Stafford with less interceptions. Stafford lead the league in interceptions also last year. How do you explain those numbers?
I'll give you Cooper Kupp is alot better than any receiver in the Bears, but Mooney is better than Allen Robinson.
I don't agree. I think its an upgrade to see if the QB1 can throw.Yeah, Claypool is basically interchangeable with all of their other receivers not names Darnell Mooney.

Hes probably a little better than guys like Pettis and Pringle, but they essentially traded Roquan for him straight up as i saw they gave up the exact same pick they just got from Baltimote.Yeah, Claypool is basically interchangeable with all of their other receivers not names Darnell Mooney.
He would be productive on a team that ran the ball well. What does this mean
Oh. The Titans don't run it well they just run it a lot.He would be productive on a team that ran the ball well.
They have in years past. Haven't watched them a ton this year.Oh. The Titans don't run it well they just run it a lot.
But I agree!
You can’t get Bears fan opinions on Bears offense. They are too close to it to realize how bad the offense has been for nearly 4 decades. When I lived there from ‘02-‘15 I grew to really detest Bears fans. They truly always think they have the talent to be good on offense when they are nowhere near having it, and even if they have the best defense in NFL they’ll blame the defense for losses.
Forte succeeded in spite of that offense, not because they were doing great things. It was elite special teams, elite D and Forte…along with the worst offensive talent and coaching in the NFL.
To paraphrase my FIL from our conversation this morning. He is a life long Chicago resident and Bears fan. "Nothing will change in Chicago until Virginia McCaskey dies and the franchise is sold."
I think if the price is right the Bears may re-sign him. I think they like him but it would have to be at the right price for them. Not sure if David will get that so-called "big" offer from another team so a return to the Bears is a possibility. As a bears fan I was hoping he'd get a shot on a team with a pulse maybe even one with an offensive line. I can't imagine his stock being too high as a FA, but maybe the bears have plans to re-sign him with all of their cap space next year. Get that 2nd contract!
Yeah, but I'm not sure it's relevant to an NFL trade discussion. It was funny that the poster listed two personal financial factors in the value of the potential trade for Montgomery. Like, who cares if the taxes and housing are high in California? The cherry on top is that he would be coming from Chicago, not exactly the cheapest place to live.Dramatically changing their cost of living is a factor that athletes consider all the time.
There's some backs that have made decent careers as journeymen/backups. Is the thing that keeps that happening for some pride/contract negotiation?I think if the price is right the Bears may re-sign him. Going to Buffalo would be great for him!Trade deadline is 4:00 p.m. Buffalo also looking at him. Bears are dumping good talent and accumulating high draft picks.
