I have been watching ISU basketball for many years, and it has been a long time since I saw a pass that amazing. I suppose someone should get that pass and post it on the forum. You don't see anything that brilliant too often.

Are you talking about the one in the 1st half he got it out in front of (both) players? That was SICK!!!! Everybody in Buffalo Wild Wings just screamed! It was awesome!
That was the one. You don't run into players that can do that too often. For ISU, Hornecek was the only one. This kid is pulling this stuff off as a freshman and in the NCAA tourney. Wow.
Hornacek's half court behind the back pass is hard to beat. Having said that...Morris' pass was awesome.
I think this pass equaled Hornecek's. If I would have been the defense on that play, I would have almost had to stand there with my mouth wide open and say, I don't believe that was possible.
One of the best passes I've ever seen. Was just in shock after seeing him thread the needle. Amazing play.

Monte had an incredible game overall for his first tournament game as a freshman. Showed some of his scoring potential that I think he's been deferring.
This. MM has a pretty nice jumper and has shown the ability to get into the lane and finish in big games. Combined with his ability to run the team with (nearly) no mistakes and he becomes a critical player the rest of the way with GN out.
The real beauty of watching that pass was at the courtside level shot. Simply incredible to watch it bounce to Ejim at that angle.
