Monte is NOT a Cousy Award Finalist

Must not have wanted more than 1 from a conference? Only excuse I can think of.

If that's the reason, wow. Stupid. I agree with Doc above. Morris and Evans should have been on there over Brunson and Berry. In fact, I'd probably vote for Morris over everyone here. This award should prioritize pure passing, imo.

Brunson:
14.8 PPG
53.6% FG
38.5% 3 Point
88.2% FT
2.7 Rebounds/game
4.3 Assists/game
2.2 TO/game

Berry:
15.1 PPG
45.3% FG
42.6% 3 Point
83.2% FT
3.3 Rebounds/game
3.7 Assists/game
2.0 TO/game

Morris:
16.2 PPG
46.2% Fg
39.1% 3 Point
79.6% FT
4.6 Rebounds/game
6.2 Assists/game
1.0 TO/game

Monte scores more, assists more, rebounds more, and this isn't even mentioning the staggering assist to turnover

Brunson and Berry over him his absolutely criminal. Brunson is the third best player on his damn team.

Add Williams-Goss, only because of strength of schedule.

16.4 PPG
5.6 RPG
4.7 APG
2.1 TOV
1.6 SPG
Team SOS is 51

Villanova SOS is 11
North Carolina is 5
Iowa State is 6

Weird...I can see him not getting it, but to not be a part of the conversation isn't right with the season he had.

Oh, well...Monte likes motivation so I fully expect a 9 win streak from here on out. :)

There's no way to view the award other than "The top Point Guard on the Top 5 teams".

What a joke. I know we didn't have the team success as some of those guys, but really? Monte is the definition of what a point guard should be..

So be the PG on a top five ranked team and you're a finalist. D'okay.

This and the WV foul calling...2 swift kicks to the jimmies. Finalists here, while no doubt talented, also benefit from having elite talent on their teams. Monte worked with this team and both developed and helped to develop the team. His last month or so has been great and the team reflects this with the 6 game winning streak. This give the appearance of a glorified beauty contest with only the blue bloods invited to the dance.
