I have to disagree with "any and all Wilco", but I will grant you the song i thought of was "One Sunday Morning, (a song for Jane Smiley's boyfriend)" fits into this category nicely.

Also one to check out is "Golden" by My Morning Jacket.

I just about added "Golden" to my original list. Good choice.

Almost forgot someone I recently discovered thanks to "Live at Daryl's House"...and I know I'm way behind...

But Grace Potter and the Nocturnals...a couple of songs, "Goodbye Kiss" and "Things I Never Needed".

Also love "Paris (Ohh La La)" but it's not mellow.

I've seen her live in DSM 3 different times, she is great reminds me a lot of early Heart.

Just to try to go with something not mainstream I'd say pretty much anything by Jaymay. She's an amazing singer/songwriter.
