No big deal, but I'm confused. Why not just fly directly to Omaha? Or from Omaha to Indianapolis? Why would Des Moines be involved at all? Plus, why would he be coming from Indianapolis? I believe Indiana State is still in Terre Haute.
Not as much as it would if he met him in Ames, or if GMac flew to Omaha. Probably didn't expect to get spotted in West Des Moines, or at the airport. Just sayin'.
At Happy Chief. There are some big ISU supporters in Adair so they may have been noticed if they went there.

Any chance that Creighton would take DA back if he went up to Oregon and had another case of "post-purchase dissonance" like he did with Arkansas?
I heard the Creighton AD was in town hitting up Jordan Creek for some Spring sales and took in the Drake relays as well.
Of course, there has also been speculation today on both the Oregon and Creighton sides that the Creighton AD might be following Altman to Oregon.........since they don't currently have an AD. Doesn't appear to be true though. Crazy day!

I would have doubts about any meeting between the AD and any coach this early in the process. If Creighton is like most other schools, they would first have a series of discussions with an search firm like the one in Atlanta that specializes in representing coaches. Most coaches stay under the radar early in the search process by letting their agent earn his money in the preliminary discussions.
