McDermott to Creighton?

funny.

looks like you can still get to the other pages past the front page if you still have them in history, so its just a redirect from the main page.

If ISU had bought it id expect the DNS to be updated at least in the near future to cyclones.com, and showing iowa state (instead of an anonymous buyer) as the owner.

Either they bought it or the guy who owns it put an auto redirect to the ISU Athletics Website. Crazy.

Seeing as at one point the guy was offering to sell it, i would bet that either he got some money, or someone found out who this guy was and put some pressure on him to take it down.

WOI-Channel 5 is reporting Creighton AD was in DSM today...

He could be in town meeting next to anyone in DSM, closest town somewhat major town with a decent airport other than Omaha.

Also are these players signing officially or just committing and soon to be signing?

Gimme a break. He is interviewing someone in Des Moines area.

maybe firemcdermott.com has been taken down because the insider who runs that knows that mcdermott's headed west?
:wideeyed:
Cyclones must have bought them out with some of McD's salary.

All I know, is football is under the radar and men's bball is red hot with the stories.

Whether you like GMAC or not.

GMac better be out in front of this Creighton issue. Don't flirt around and make it known...that will make it worse. Sort of like Alford did with Mizzou. He should release something, right?

You want to see an explosion of irony? What if Creighton is looking to hire a coach away from ISU.......but the coach they're looking for is Nick Nurse?
:biglaugh:.....I hope we have a 2 mil buy out on Nurse then.

Makes me wonder, why haven't they taken down the fire-paul-rhoads site.

Perhaps they know that this latter site would never be taken seriously. After all, Paul Rhoads is a proven winner, with wins at Nebraska and over a legitimate BCS opponent in a bowl game. However, the former site was more than a nuisance, as Greg McDermott is a proven loser (no more than 15 wins in any season at the BCS level), so perhaps the site was drawing a bit too much attention to the ISU athletic department's unaddressed problems in this area.
