I believe the plan was to ease in Lindell to the PG responsibilities this year with the plan of him starting in year 2. LW's ability to penetrate and finish will raise the ceiling of the team and I think Prohm will handle over the keys. Lindell needs to tight up his handle for sure but I am confident the experience he got this year will pay dividends next season.

LW is/was our best shooter. He showed everything of a SG. Best to keep him there. With our two sitters this year, it really opens up options of different rotations and gives the depth to keep people to 80-90% court time instead of a full forty minutes. Having a SG that can hit threes and penetrate is a dream. DJ lack of driving hurt him and defenders played him too tight to be an effective sniper.

I really hope Nick gets healthy.

Wigginton, Shayok, Weiler-Babb, and Lard could be all-conference level guys.

When we had that with Monté, Naz, Matt, and Deonte, we were obviously very good, and our current four would have more behind them than those four.

I would bet money that Wigginton shares PG duties next year. Give Prohm an offseason to work with him and I would be very surprised if he isn't vastly improved.
There’s a big difference between some sharing and Wigginton getting “handed the keys” or Wigginton getting 65% of the pg role.

It’s possible he shares pg duties, I mean we did mess up that position badly to start this year, too. We’ll see about improvement, but pg instincts don’t usually improve any more in the offseason than they do during the season. There’s a reason why he’s never really been a pg. There’s usually a better option.

We shall see.

If Wigginton is at PG, he will be flanked by two very capable 6'5" wings. That means the guy guarding Wigginton will most likely be his size or smaller. I like that matchup with the ball in his hands due to his physical size and athleticism.
