LOL c'mon man. If you are truly a good guy then you have nothing to worry about. Absolutely terrified to work with women? Just don't be a creep! It isn't that complicated. The stuff coming out of Hollywood is disgusting. It is pretty obviously way over the line.

Who is this guy talking to start out? Absolutely awful, no train of thought what so all, stuttering and stammering all over the place. Too painful to even get to the interview.
Most of these accusations are so awful that any decent person would know they are doing something wrong. Walking around naked? Threats.
The only one so far that I can remember that might be what you are talking about is franken. And even he should have known better.
If you are truly afraid you should examine your behavior.
My first thought is always "why are people getting fired based on complaints/accusations" as I still feel we need to remember innocent until proven guilty (although my heart goes out to the people who have been sexually violated/abused if guilty) but reading further, sounds like it was a repeated pattern of behavior. He was their highest paid employee....but good riddance if that's what he was doing.

Yeah, and you just can't automatically and immediately separate from your friendships/relationships/personal feelings due to something like this. You can be saddened by the actions of a person and still care for them.

I'm certain the suspending/firing is only happening after corroboration. I don't doubt that, in the current environment, there isn't a rush to get the investigating done, but still-- there's no way these men are being fired after just one complaint. If they're being let go, I'm confident they're scumbags.
Typical HR guidelines for companies I have been employed for has been immediate suspension for any assault, harassment or discrimination claim; then the investigation; then determination and results.
Why is it wrong for her to be sad? She's a frickin human being! She literally found out right before she went on the air, so I don't think she's out of line for showing emotion. It's not like she used her platform to defend him.
You have to understand where I’m coming from and this is coming at a bad time for me because I’ve been struggling with some confidence issues. I struggle with social interaction especially when I don’t know people well. Part of the issue is that I’m having a hard time right now.
To better explain I find the stuff described about Conyers and Rose absolutely disgusting. I have a bit of a hard time with it because I also have a hard time thinking people knew and did nothing. I dont think I could have not come forward if I had known about those things. I also have always been concerned about some of the stories that you can hear about with college campuses of people accused in a misunderstanding and not having an ability to defend themselves. The one I think that really started my issues was the Bubu situation which no matter what you think of him was completely mishandled.
If I would ever hurt someone even inadvertently I would be absolutely devastated. I never want to hurt someone and have kind of avoided relationships because of it. Some of that is stuff I need to handle but that is a side effect of this stuff.
I absolutely hope people that did stuff like described about Charlie Rose are held responsible but we have to be reasonable in how we handle these situations.
I doubt Savanah was the victim that filed the complaint as that would just be crude of NBC to expect her to host the show having to lead off with the firing of her long-time friend and co-host if she was the accuser/victim. We'll probably never know who filed the complaint or what he did, for the firing to happen so quickly they must have already known something was up and finally someone put in a formal complaint about it to justify acting on it. I'm guessing that Willie Geist will eventually be named his replacement although it would really make things interesting if they moved Megyn Kelly into that spot as when NBC hired her there were rumors Lauer could eventually be replaced by her since they now had 2 highly paid/high profile anchors on the payroll. A little off subject but Kelly has been a major flop for NBC so far with her failed Sunday evening show and now she's doing mostly daytime talk show topics or fluff pieces for an hour on the Today show when she made her reputation in the past as a strong and hard hitting anchor and interviewer who covered the big stories and issues so she's been taken out of her element so far at NBC with how they've used her and basically have set her up to fail so far at this point.
Makes you wonder how many more high profile people are going to have to deal with their past now that the floodgates have been opened and people now have more courage to come forward with their stories.

I think that there will likely be situations where the management of a company overreacts and lets someone go based on the current climate. If the NYT were investigating this one, there was probably a bit more to it though.
I remember watching an interview he was doing with Ben Affleck last week where they were talking about this topic. I distinctly remember thinking they better have clean hands with how outward and public they were being about their disdain for this kind of behavior. He had to have known he had a skeleton or two hanging in his closet.
I agree with you 100%, but someone's name can be "drug through the mud" on this and their reputation tarnished. If a disgruntled employee wanted to "get back" at their superior, it wouldn't be hard to fabricate a harassment story and smear their name with a scandal that's 100% false.
