Iowa State is a Power 5 School. Coaches leave power 5 schools to the NFL all the time. I don’t think this is Campbell’s last chance to get an NFL rank position.

Working for the the worst and most racist owner in football (Woody Johnson) with an organizational culture of failure in all areas would be quite the challenge. I really hope Campbell doesn't hitch himself to that organization.
As far as we know he hasn't even interviewed with any other job. The fact that he's interviewing (if true), is not good...
I will say this. I’m knocking on wood here , but...
Jason La Canfora is well known for having incorrect sources frequently. Let’s hold off and at least wait for more credible reporters to follow through on this.

It says nothing about Campbell having a set interview with the Jets.

It also says nothing about Campbell even talking to the Jets. He's on vacation for crying out loud.

Even if he does, there is zero harm in doing it. Let’s say Campbell does have interest in the NFL someday - you might as well interview and go through the process to see what it’s like. I think there is a very small chance he leaves with the team coming back. But it’s possible he’s practicing for next year.
I’m going to treat the Matt Campbell Jets interview story as false unless Schefter or one of the NFL Network guys (Rapoport/Pelissero) report it as news.
Oh, agree....and the fact this is out there he probably hates. But, if he's talking to see options, hear their thoughts, that's fine. But seeing what Matt Rhule got, scary if they offer $7-8 mil a year, hard to not consider
If there is any truth to this Campbell could possibly use this as fodder when he sits down with pollard and hammer out a monster deal to stay at Iowa state!!
I’m guessing Campbell must be Joe Douglas’s agent. Not a bad side hustle if you can get it.
I think it should be scary to Campbell that they have had 4 coaches since 2006 and the last one lasted 2 years.
