Campbell never quit on this team. I’m fine with letting Becht throw deep to give us a chance, even if it hadn't worked he was trying to win the game.

I know Iowa’s defense is insane and our offense was garbage in the first half but the play calling down 13 looked like that of a coach that never quit.

We have one the best defenses in the nation and you are trying everything to see if you can cut into the lead.

What a great coaching job.

Watching him just absolutely rip into the ST coach was encouraging. Especially when many fans on here thought he just didn’t care about this game. Showed passion that we hadn’t seen before in this game I feel like

It’s accountability. 100% necessary. Not like CMC’s the only coach to ever get on an assistant during a game. 9/10 times cameras don’t even catch that encounter

Nobody is saying yelling makes good leaders. Matt got on an assistant and was holding him accountable to do better, and yes it was a very passionate conversation, and Matt was very animated. How would you rather he handle that conversation?

In the same way but a little more in control. I have a strong feeling CMC would agree. I'm also sure he would rather that not have happened on camera.
