So basically, every school should just make 98% of their uniforms black, and the world will think it kicks *****.

Changing uniforms every week just doesn't work when you're a crappy football team. No matter what uniform combo Maryland comes up with next it won't make up for the fact that they're starting a LB at QB.

This. Secondly, doesn't kind of take away from the "cool factor" of having an alternate uniform if you have 37 of them??

It worked for Oregon. They sucked and only got attention when they started rolling out new craptastic uniforms every week. Recruits followed attention and look at them now...

of course that's not the only reason, but it didn't hurt.

This x1000.

Does anyone stick to their own school colors anymore? These suck dog balls.

Your argument might make sense if in Maryland's case black wasn't one of their school colors:

Colors Red, White, Black, and Gold

And yes, I do think these uniforms are sweet. They made the "Queen of Hearts Army" uniforms look like something that doesn't deserve to be mocked. Too bad they field a team that doesn't deserve to play in them.

They wouldnt be such a crappy team if they didnt lose 4 QBs to season ending injuries and thats why they have to start a LB at QB who did play QB in High School.

They were still crappy with any of their 4 QB's, just like they were crappy with Danny O'Brien last year.

They started the year 4-2..this team would be bowl eligible if they still had the QB they started the year with.. still actually have a shot at a bowl this year but unlikely with Florida St & UNC left to play.

Yes, that's all it takes.

It matters not if black is actually among the school colors, either.

In fact, it's better that way.

Don't ask why. I don't make the rules.

Once again, this argument is stupid in this thread because black IS a Maryland school color.
