Laura used to be a SHIELD Agent. Agent 19 was Mockingbird's old title. I looked it up today to see what part I was missing there.

Makes me wonder if we might see an enhanced role from Linda Cardellini in either a season 2 of hawkeye or a full Mockingbird spinoff. She's a fantastic actress, so I'd love to see either

I still don't get that part, though. It's cool to learn a little more about Laura's past, but we didn't get any explanation for why Kingpin/Maya/Tracksuits wanted the watch in the first place. I saw one theory that maybe Laura, in her Mockingjay days, was embedded in Kingpin's organization, and another theory where maybe she was actually undercover as Vanessa (Kingpin's ex-wife).

I was waiting and kept expecting more Spider-men to show up like Into the Spider-Verse. If it's truly a multi-verse that was crossing over into Tom Holland's universe, then there should've been more than the 2 extra Spider-Men that we saw. And maybe they are like Venom and we just didn't see them on screen, but are hanging out in like Madrigal or some place confused as hell.

At least we know Miles will eventually show up. You don't include the Electro foreshadowing unless you're going to use him IMO

Also love that they did a Sinister 6 finally, but the 6th member was off getting drunk. LOL
Dr. Strange said that "a few" people made it threw, not everyone - at least not until the end.

Touche.

The thing that ruined Daredevil for me was the side characters. Karen was ok, but she worked better as a foil for the Punisher than she did as one for Daredevil. Then Foggy, I damn near fast forwarded every time he showed up on screen. I don’t know how Elden Henson became a worse actor since his days on the first mighty ducks team, but he accomplished it.

For me the best things about Daredevil were Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Jon Berenthal as Frank Castle. Otherwise everything else was pretty forgettable.

Now that you say this it’s true. I honestly forgot the lady from true blood was even in the show.

It's a shame that they basically kicked Agents of SHIELD to the curb as they had Agent 19/Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird in that. Adrianne Palicki portrayed her as the bad ass she is in the comics. No offense to Linda Cardellini, but I just don't see her as Mockingbird.

I see why people are looking at it that way, but all it reveals is that she was Shield Agent 19, which also points to her being Mockingbird. HOWEVER, there is nothing that says her real name is Bobbi Morse yet, so one can easily see the Agent 19/Mockingbird moniker being a titled that gets passed down. At least this is what I tell myself. Another example would be Agent 13, which was actually the moniker held by BOTH Peggy Carter, in The First Avenger Canon Prequel comic, and later her niece Sharon.

Also, Agents of SHIELD can easily be kept as canon as an alternate universe. It's simple as can be to do that.
I like your title passed down idea, too. This is generally an easy one to handle.

At least now it has sorta been explained how the Ronin Suit and the watch got take from the Avenger's compound. The FBI raided it after Peter's identity became public and somehow, probably through Kingpin connections, some of the items ended up on the black market.

Also in Endgame, you can see helicopters in the background hauling stuff away from the Avengers compound. That was a big clean-up job to be done, likely by Damage Control.

2021 is nearly in the rear-view mirror and what better than to rank the year's comic book movies. Here is mine:

1. Zack Snyder's Justice League
2. Spider-Man: No Way Home
3. Shang Chi
4. Black Widow
5. Suicide Squad
6. Venom: Let There Be Carnage
7. The Eternals

Your turn.... GO!!!!

How is suicide squad? I really enjoyed the first one

It was an improvement from the first one with more fun and a hard "R" rating now. It's directed by James Gunn, the director of The Guardians of The Galaxy movies, so it has his brand of humor throughout.

Donofrio says he is the same Kingpin

Figured it was about time to give a little commentary on the finale of Hawkeye, so here goes. I came into this series super hyped and was maybe my #1 most anticipated Disney+ MCU series in the first round of them. I then really dug the Die Hard/Christmas vibe of the trailers, along with their casting choices, so I was all in. However, after a stellar prologue look-back start in the MCU, I found episodes 1 - 5 of the series to be completely all over the place, not exactly knowing what the heck this show wanted to be. There was things I was digging like the car chase scene, Kate and Hawkeye's banter, the overall esthetic of the show, and everything Christmas about the show, which all at least kept me into the show to some level. With that said, I quickly found I was already at episode 6, and up until that point, I found that nothing had really happened in the show outside of Kate and Hawkeye slapping around a gang of worthless, harmless baffoons. The show kept hinting at stuff and telling us there were stakes to be had, but I never felt that way.

This all brings me to the finale, which consequently had A LOT riding on it due to everything mentioned above. I said on here the last episode would truly make or break the show for me. I was really hopeful it would turn things around. Well.... the last episode completely broke it for me. Outside of a few moments of fun in the episode, I found pretty much everything else to be quite bad. The action was slow, badly choreographed and planned (how does the police in Rockefeller Center not show up for 20 minutes after shots being fired???), nearly none of the big teases payed off even remotely (seriously, the watch????), and worst of all, I felt the show slaughtered what was maybe the best villain in all the MCU, which is the Kingpin. At what point did our intelligent, methodical, brutal Kingpin of the Daredevil series turn into a harmless leader of idiots chasing after a watch for seemingly no reason, only to be beat by a teenager after only one episode of screen time????? Yes, this Kingpin got beat twice by Daredevil (S1 and S3) on Netflix, but outside of the last episodes, he was kicking arse and taking names for 95% of the show. He felt seemingly unstoppable and beat everyone to a pulp both physically and mentally, not to mention the horrors he made The Punisher do in prison. What was unstoppable about this guy, other than his slight showing of physical strength and the offensiveness to the eyes of that Hawaiian shirt??? John Campea called this Kingpin the WalMart version of Kingpin and I couldn't agree more. Such a waste. Hopefully we see more of him in future projects where his perception gets changed by around.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Feel free to disagree. I ultimately thought the show had the potential to at least turn things around into an overall favorable light in the last episode, but instead, the show landed with a thud. As much as I hate to say it, it ended dead last in my MCU Disney+ series rankings when I was guessing it would be #1.

1. Spiderman

Huge Massive Grand Canyon Size Gap

3. Suicide Squat - Lots of laughs
4. Venom: Let There Be Carnage - not great, but enjoyed
5. Black Widow - Just happy she got a solo, loved the chemistry with Yelena, but after hawkeye I realize Yelena is awesome without Natasha.
6. The Eternals - Liked it, but yeah not great.
7. Zack Snyder's Justice League

Snyder's Justice League was a far longer (slightly better) version of the same crappy movie I had already watched. DC should have just killed DCU. We have this remake. Aquaman, WonderWoman, Flash are still getting movies. Sounds like Cavil and Afleck are done. Batman has been rebooted. I'm not sure what it is DC is doing. They should take a break and start over with a new plan. I love DC's heros. Their animated stuff is fantastic, but man in comparison to the MCU they look lost. End rant.
