that’s honestly pretty cool and about asgood of a tribute as you could give somebody if you are ABC/Disney. Historically how many people will they do this for? Like maybe Tom hanks or somebody.

That still amazes me. In this day when so many people have to draw attention to their insignificant gripes, he chose to inspire others while suffering through cancer. I have so much respect for that man.

After reading that article, my first thought (about the Black Panther franchise) is that there is no way they should try to recast T'Challa. I don't know how to do it well, but they need to move on from him and crown Shuri, Okoye or maybe even M'Baku as the new Black Panther. I don't think they can successfully replace an actor on Boseman's level to take on the role. That is also one of the things that is great about the MCU is very few characters have been recast. Bruce Banner, if you count the Incredible Hulk as a true part of the MCU, and Rhodey are the only main characters I can think of off the top of my head that have been recast.

I'm honestly surprised that some sort of health screening isn't mandatory for these actors. They sign them to like 7 movie deals.

Count me in the boat that hopes they recast him. To me, it honors Chadwick to pass the torch on to a new actor with what Black Panther is as well as its significance, and I feel like T'Challa himself still has stories to tell within our current MCU. That isn't to say that somewhere down the line that there aren't stories to be told where they eventually pass on Black Panther to another character, but for now, we've only just begun to some extent with T'Challa.

Whatever decision they go with will be under heavy scrutiny due to the significance of the Black Panther, especially given our social climate right now. The safe option would be to pass it down to Shuri.

Recasting Boseman would likely draw some backlash from people wondering why they didn't follow the comics and give an African American woman a leading role (even though Marvel has done a solid job displaying diversity and gender equity). I am confident that whatever way they proceed, they will still get my money.

And I am completely with you on being surprised that the studio wouldn't have the actors go through some sort of health screening or physical, especially given the conditioning and physical demands that the actors surely had to sustain for their roles.

There hardly was anything new and earth-shattering coming from it, but I found the story to be good enough and the performances from the actors to be pretty decent really. Granted, I walked in with pretty low expectations, so that might have been somewhat at play as well. Of all the characters, I probably enjoyed the character of Magik the most. How they made her powers look was really quite cool. As for the somewhat horror angle the film was trying to go towards, I'd call it mildly successful on that front. I'm kind of a weenie, so maybe I'm the wrong person to ask, but I found a few parts to be a little scary and creepy, in a PG-13 kind of way. My buddy who loves horror movies with me wasn't scared though. Overall, I'd call it mildly to medium on the scares. Anyway, I know the movie is getting kind of slammed by critics overall, but I didn't find it to be nearly as bad as they seem to be making it out to be. Its at least worth a watch with fairly low expectations. The scope of the whole movie is really quite small, so that is good to know going in as well.

Yeah, it was quite a good show with a ton of tie-ins, especially in the first season. However, I did think it went downhill quite a bit in the second season, even though S2 was still alright.

Sony working on a live-action TV series based on Silk, a Korean-American girl that gets powers like Spider-Man. The series is being produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. No streaming platform has picked up the series yet, but it sounds like Amazon is the likely platform.

Did it do a good job of introducing the characters? That was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid and I always felt a connection with the characters because I read the comic from episode 1, thanks to my older brother who spent WAY too much money at the comic store.

Eh, I would say a halfway decent job considering the movie is only an hour and a half long. Its also helped their cause that there are very few characters in the entire movie, which makes the scope of the thing very small.

Once you have Premier Access to Mulan, you can watch as many times as you want on any platform where Disney+ is available. Your access to Mulan will continue as long as you are an active Disney+ subscriber.

Interestingly, Premier Access will no longer be available beginning on November 3, which just so happens to coincide with the theatrical debut of Black Widow (Nov 6):
The Premier Access offer will be available until November 2, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Mulan becomes available to all Disney+ subscribers on Dec 4.

So - is Black Widow potentially being released on Disney+ as well?
