I am kind of surprised he is gone after one bad season.
Like Prohm, he definitely helped create some great memories for the program which I'll always remember. However, just was not consistent enough to be sustainable.

This. Even in his better years, there is a strong case to be made that the offense underperformed the talent on the roster.offense has under performed for 5 years
Well, judging by how both look in the NFL, we had 2 of the elite running backs in all of college football for about 4 years straight. It definitely makes the job of the offensive coordinator alot easier.Correct. We’re finding out how good these guys really were in college
I don't see that at all. Their offensive efficiency last year was top 25. The year prior it was top 15. To me the biggest issue has been turnovers at bad times and special teams miscues. Also some of their in 21 you can put on the defense. They gave up a ton of points in some of their losses.offense has under performed for 5 years
Guy is only 39, he's already made more before the age of 40 than a majority of us will see I'm our lifetimes. I think he'll be fine financially.Still, I'm not going to feel too bad for the guy. He's been making $900k+ for a few years now. Most of us have no idea what it's like to make that kind of money. If it were me, I'd buy a house in Maui or something and kick back for a year. He could easily find a MAC level OL job and still be making $200k a year, which is way more than most people make
Didn’t even use kene Nwangwu the right way either. He should of been coming out of the backfield to catch passes. Hell could of had hall and him come out of the backfield as receiving threats some plays. Imagine defense trying cover them both. Imagine a fake hand off to breece on the one side to come back to a pass to kene on opposite side. Defenses would be so dang out of position.with multiple NFL talents on the roster, and somehow still underachieved
Depends. Is this the real you or is it the verified real you?Do I send my $8 to Twitter or CF?

Guess I'm a bit conflicted. I didn't think that he was a bad OC given what he had to work with. It's just that getting those pieces in place is part of his responsibility as well. I don't know how much he had to do with the OL coaching, but he obviously did not help Meyers succeed.
I'll give him some credit...when they first got here, they were throwing down the field to Lazard and Butler. Then they pivoted to a TE-heavy offense that was actually pretty successful. They had two NFL RBs that got yards despite a poor OL. I kept thinking that in a few years, those young OLs would be older and we'd have a solid line. But that never happened for whatever reason.
This year things kind of fell apart. They no longer had an NFL RB. They were breaking in a new QB. They didn't have NFL TEs to throw to or block. But they did have 4 OL starters returning and somehow, they got worse. I feel like some bad recruiting decisions kind of doomed the offense. Manning can be a decent OC if he had the right players like in 2020. But at this point, Campbell had to do something.

First rule of premium board is you don’t talk about premium boardWhat's the premium board?
It's a place where they know the news of tomorrow. What's the premium board?
I have no doubt a new OC will want to bring in a different QB coach, a different OL coach. This isn't done moving yet.I'm hoping there are more changes than just this coming. Yes the play calling was a problem but the offensive problems this year run deeper than that.
