I think that Mangino knew the score along with Rhoads at the beginning of the season. The benchmark must have been set at 5 wins this year, that become unattainable after yesterday, now Rhoads is gone.

I will admit I thought Mangino was a good hire. You would think he would have changed after what happened at KU, but apparently not.

A grown man taking cheap shots via social media after he was the first one pushed off a sinking ship tells me everything I ned to know about Mangino. Did he not watch our offense after he was gone? ?

Mark has a nasty disposition. It's a character flaw that's been revealed over and over again. But not sure where he ends up after this little sortie. And it's too bad because the dude has shown the ability to coach them up. Anyone who can win at Ku has my respect.

His character flaws were well known back when he was hired. They were widely discussed by many on here, and the overwhelming response by Cyclone fans was to act like it wasn't a big deal and he was a changed man. Let's try to use that as an example in the future ladies and gents. Some things are obvious to the naked eye and there's no need to sugar coat them.
I've heard stories about Mangino that are far worse than what have been shared on here. There's not any need to share them. I'm just saying that to make a point. The guy was and always has been a bad egg. It's pretty hard to change someone's personality at his age.

I'll give you one... This one occurred prior to his ISU tenure.
The refs always meet with the coaches prior to the game inside the locker rooms. Mangino used to think it was funny to strip butt naked in his office prior to the refs walking in so when they did there he was in all his glory.
The guy has some screws loose. The rest of the stories I've heard were mostly examples of his temper.
I know stories about people, I probably shouldn't tell them, just better to imagine they are crappy people cause I say so.
