Someone nailed it in the KState thread: Matt would rather go to prison than provide actuate injury reports.

No way to actually regulate it without a central office IMO, so I doubt we get any actual info.
 
So what’s the penalty for lying? Wasn’t Tom Brady famously always on the injury report as probable or something? What’s to stop a coach from listing guys that are sorta hurt as game time decisions all season long? Utah essentially did that with Cam Rising all season with his “progression” even though they knew he wasn’t going to play.

People were still asking about Bacon in like week 9 last year.

Big 10 has been doing since 2023 and SEC started last year.
They only require reports two hours before kickoff (what this accomplishes, I don't understand). Big 12 is doing this 3 days before kickoff. Way different IMO.
