Hey, isn't the ISU/Texas game being on Friday new news as well? I had it for Thanksgiving Saturday and it is now listed as Friday.

This defies all things possible. Makes absolutely zero sense and I can't wait to go visit the OU site for their well thought out opinions.

Note: Providers NOT expected to carry the PPV game include DISH and Sling. The game will also not be available on the SoonerSports Roku app due to Roku's in-app purchasing requirements. If you are unsure whether your provider is carrying the game, please contact your provider directly.

This is nothing new for OU. They've had one home game on PPV every year since at least 2010. Their fans will pay for it, so why not keep doing it.

2020 (Missouri State), 2019 (South Dakota), 2018 (Army), 2017 (Tulane), 2016 (UL-Monroe), 2015 (Akron), 2014 (Louisiana Tech), 2013 (UL-Monroe), 2012 (Florida A&M), 2011 (Ball State), 2010 (Utah State).

I wonder how much of that $55/person ends up in OU

I doubt if it is anywhere near $55 per person. I imagine if they have been doing it for years, there are groups that have watch parties for the game every year. Just like a buddy of mine has a bowl watch party every year ISU goes to a bowl game. There are usually about 25-30 people there. And those games are free.

Joe Tessitore, Greg McElroy, and Holly Rowe going to be on the call?

I love it that Holly Rowe will be here to do the game...In the Danny Mac era we had an ABC 2:30 game, which Holly did and as a warm up to the game ...On Friday nite Holly was in an Ames Bar drinking shots and buying drinks.....Now that is my kind of media person...And remember GO CYCLONES!

From what I’ve heard it’s unlikely any media are here in-person and will be broadcasting remotely. Apparently this was the case for a number of home games last season. Holly may be the exception, but she would likely be one of only a handful of on-site media operators.

Prior to this year, announcers have been on-site for football. Occasionally, some of the crew hasn't been. (Basketball is a different story.)

The pattern emerging on ESPN is PBP/color in a studio somewhere, with sideline reporter on-site. With that setup, it's likely that most of the production crew (other than camera ops) are also off-site.

For the people who like to sync radio with TV, that'll probably mean ~5 more seconds of delay on the video side.

IF ESPN does it the same way as how they are doing today's games then they have the 2 announcers off-site and the sideline reporter on-site.
