Looking forward to the game

I'm not so concerned about styles, etc. I am concerned that they might have better players and coaches. If not, then it should be a fun game.

Nah. Every time I see another player and think "Man it would be nice to have him on our team" I have to then make myself pick someone from our team to have him replace. I just can't do it. They have all done something I can't forget. If you want to get into the bench, maybe, but I love our starters. And I imagine Virginia fans feel the same. It's probably my favorite part of college basketball.

I'm just giddy for the game to be in the rear view mirror (assuming a win, of course) with the knowledge that we play either Syracuse or Gonzaga for the chance to go to the final 4.

Not that they're both not on a tear, but every team playing for the final 4 is on a tear - Rather play KU? No thanks!

Just keep Eades or Big 12 officiating away in general and I like our chances. Should be a great game between two strong teams. Two strong programs as well. Pumped for Friday!

Seriously, if we can stay out of foul trouble, do a decent job of def rebounding, and shoot our season averages in 3 pt, FGs, and FTs, I feel good about this game. We don't need to be "hot" or have our best shooting game to win this game.

btw ... heard behind us in Denver: "Number 21 sure thinks he can hit the 3!?!". "He can't hit anything!" (Matt was 6/10 and 4/8). And ... "Wow that #31 is a ball hog." And true to my nature, I had to drop some knowledge on the two guys wearing CU gear. How you could be a non-partisan fan at an NCAA site and not know about Niang was curious to me.
