I'm sure it is less about the weather and more about an opportunity to sell advertising to a local television station.
It is, but that doesn't change my thoughts on it.

which brings me to another thing we could add to fix at hilton: parking management. The lots after games are a complete cluster**** sometimes, and are the reason so many leave early.
That is the case some of the time but there have been a couple times this year already where he has had a clear path and still hasn't made it or has barely made it. You can see him sucking air big time. I understand he's a student, beer is probably 45% of his diet, fattening foods are the remaining 55% and intramurals aren't enough cardio but come on man...It's because dumbasses try to leave at the 4 minute timeout and are too full of themselves to notice a guy hauling at them full sprint. It's a lot harder to run when you have to weave through people
You wanna see stress and panic, watch the ushers faces whenever it happens. Always having to hold people out of the way from getting lit up.
I feel like any major renovation to Hilton will force us to play a season elsewhere while they renovate. For example: TCU.
I honestly hope we never have any suites though.
Has no bearing to the conversation but I found of pic of Hilton I've never seen before. Thought I'd drop it here. 1970.

I think any luxury seating would be an open "box seat" design instead of a closed "suite" style.
At WFA, they have boxes that seat 6-8 at the top of the lower bowl (just below the ribbon board in the pic below), in a location similar to the inner concourse at Hilton. Each one has its own small fridge, plus access to a lounge area.

I didn't find anything useful in that link about a Hilton renovation (other than the short paragraph overview). Instead I just found some concepts of a new basketball practice facility connected to Hilton on the south end, which clearly was changed to Sukup out in west Ames. So whatever else is in that link is potentially just as outdated if not moreso.
I'm guessing the "Club seats" are the temporary seating which aren't Cyclone Alley on the floor. So, I see that increasing club seats is not in that plan. However, where are the 542 club seats it claims we already have?
Bring back Coca Cola at all sporting events.
Actually have multiple flavors of pop, so fans have an actual choice. Gouge us for $3-5 per cup of pop, at least let's have choice.
