I’ve run a toro personal pace for the past 6 years. I use it to mow a neighbor’s yard and my yard. It’s been solid. Change oil every spring, clean air cleaner at least twice a year, sharpen blade twice a year.Same.
Thought Honda stopped selling gas push mowers on North America last year.Top 5 via Consumer Report, albeit in a Tor Personal Pace Mulcher myself

Honda Won't Sell Gasoline Mowers in the US Anymore
It's unclear if Honda will replace its gas mower lineup with electric models offered overseas come Sept. 2023.www.thedrive.com
Multiple neighbors have E-Go mowers. They have issues I don’t have with a very old gas mower. I don’t think I’ll be making that switch.I’ve run a toro personal pace for the past 6 years. When it comes to fall I can power through any amount of leaves with it no problem. E-Go mower my neighbor has that I mow and mulch with has had charging issues since it was new last year. Sometimes it will last 10 minutes sometimes it will only use 3 of the 5 bars. Mulching leaves in the fall uses a lot more power and there have been times that I can’t get his yard done on one charge.
Just my opinion but I love the power and torque of a gas engine over an electric. I’ll get another Toro Personal Pace as I am in the market as the rear tires on mine are smooth I’ve used it so much.
I was in the same position last summer and I took a chance on a new Ego battery powered mower. I absolutely love it!Mine is on it's last legs, I kinda want to go battery powered, but scared.
Is it hilly? If so that's one thing that would give me hesitation. We've been talking about battery powered mower and snowblower....We've got neighbors with the mower and they like it. We have nearly a half acre so we'd need extra battery. (Yes, we push mow!)
Though it might be the better deal to get the matching snowblower, I'd assume the batteries would work for both.
I dipped my tow in the water with an Ego trimmer this year. I'm happy with it so far. Will probably grab their mower when my current gas mower gives out.I was in the same position last summer and I took a chance on a new Ego battery powered mower. I absolutely love it!

- The battery is way more than enough for my normal size lawn.
- It's very light and easy to move around, so no need for self propelled.
- It takes up a much smaller footprint in my garage because I can stand it on end if I want (see below).
- Much quieter than a gas mower.
- Much easier to start - just press a button.
- Don't have to mess with gas and oil.
- Don't have to worry about winterizing it after the mowing season.
Not too terribly bad. Between trimming and mowing I'm done in an hour and 45 minutes. Is it hilly? If so that's one thing that would give me hesitation.
My SiL has an ego mower and I take care of her lawn when she travels, which is a lot, it works well but she has a pretty flat lot, I've wondered how it would do on a lot like ours which is about 1/3 of an acre with some hills. Not too terribly bad. Neighbor had an electric mower. That didn't seem to last long bc it wouldn't cut the grass very well and then he ended up getting a gas powered one.

I'm thinking about buying a robotic lawn mower. It sounds like a few with Lidar, work pretty well
