Lattimer arrested last night

We know they got arrested. It's generably reasonable to assume that they didn't get arrested for good behavior...

Ok Im not going to go back through and read you crappy posts again....

What should there punishment be? Obviously you want resolution to this now...?
What should ISU/CPR do in the future to make sure the players we get show "honor before intergrity or victory or whatever?

I guess maybe you think CPR is the problem...?

Probably should sit for the UNI game. Anything beyond that would be dumb. I'm not even sure sitting the UNI game is called for. Dude has a clean record and we have no idea how this charge came to be. If all he did was act like a **** to a cop I say no games. Let's be honest...most cops are ****s.

I'm guessing you didn't bother to really read them the first time. It could have saved you some time.

I don't want resolution to this now, and have never indicated such.

He can't really do anything meaningful without affecting his ability to recruit. I feel sorry for him.

Nope. But if you read up a few posts, you should be able figure out where I think the problem lies...

Step 2: blame the victim

But you dont think that Jack Trice should have some feel good sign posted outside the stadium? because we have players that get dui's?

Yup. Because our players are so much more dishonorable now. Couldnt be that enforcement has changed (where it wasnt long ago where a cop would just tell someone to drive straight home slowly if they had alcohol in them- not saying that's the way to go, but its not like our players are worse now because the rules have changed.)

The "victim"? :spinny: Oh boy, that's rich. Go ahead and stick your head in the sand and pretend a vast majority of the time this type of charge is given the cops are not as out of line and the guy charged.

Again, I'm not saying the guy is clean and does not deserve punishment...I'm just for being real. And I'm assuming 'Chipper' is a hawk fan trying to stir ****.

that didnt take long.
You're apparently the expert on such matters. Ex cop with an inflated opinion of yourself brings you opinion to the forfront.

Why aren't you defending these athletes like you did that arrogant putz, DJK. Or does your caring about people only apply to Iowa athletes. Maybe you got tired of being called an idiot by other posters. Let me know. I'm not worried about NLP the poster but NLP the person. Let's talk it out. Hugs afterward.

Oh, and don't come back at me with the tough guy act. I'll meet you any place any time. I'll bring a mustache comb and a mirror and you'll forget why you came in the first place. Lost in your absorbed self.

Go back to your own board and lower their collective intelligence. They need someone to laugh at today.

Since both you and cyhawkdmb appear to be "confused", let me try to explain. I wasn't suggesting we take the Honor Before Victory sign down because we have players that get arrested. I suggested that if we intend to go down the road of not caring about these things in order to win games (such as the poster that I replied to suggested), we should take the Honor Before Victory sign down.

I've seen cops arrest a little skinny girl for touching them. I bet they were pretty quick to the trigger when a big football player was mad at them.
I watched them do just this near Welch Ave. around behind the fire station. She was walking with a friend on the sidewalk and didn't even seem to be drunk..... she did push his arm off her shoulder after he stopped them for a sobriety check (I assume), her friend said "Get your Fing hands off her" and the two sorority girls ended up with the same charges as Lattimer ............. which were later dropped. They were sorority sisters with my daughter so we knew them by name/face. We 'older folks' were so ****** we went down, gave a statement and got them out the same night.
