Not just an attitude. In ames its damn near the truth.
Maybe it is the cops I've ran into or have been around, but they have acted opposite of ****s in many occasions.
I know cops that are very good people and are in it for the right reasons...not all cops are ****s. I get that and I thank god for all of them. But there is not a single profession that is filled with as many arrogant, power hungry, straight up ******** than police officers. Its just the way it is..accept it or not.
As a good general rule: The highly intelligent natural leaders in this country do not aspire to or actually become police officers. The one state police officer, I know personally, was the kid everybody picked on in my high school class. I think it is often a repressed power issue being played out in real life. Not always of course.Probably should sit for the UNI game. Anything beyond that would be dumb. I'm not even sure sitting the UNI game is called for. Dude has a clean record and we have no idea how this charge came to be. If all he did was act like a **** to a cop I say no games. Let's be honest...most cops are ****.[/QUOTE]
I hate this attitude. Grow up.

I think there are those like that, but you might find that in other places where people try to attain authority. The cops I know in Chicago are not like that at all, of course in Chicago you actually have to deal with crime.

Bingo.

Let's hope you're never in a position where you actually need one of those lowly knuckle draggers who chose to be a police officer to help you or possibly even save your life. Perhaps, instead, you can call one of those highly intelligent natural leaders to come to your rescue.
Here's a new one. If you don't want to get arrested, obey the law.

No offense, but I think that's a pretty cynical world view. I know a few cops too, and I wouldn't consider any of them bullies or powermongers. If anything, the one cop you point out could be the exception that proves the rule.
Ya, **** the police, right Easy-E?

Funny how all the hawks swarm this thread. I guess we could learn something from them, being they have a bit of experience in the "athletes in trouble" department.

What can I say, I got it bad because I'm brown.
In all reality, I'm not much like Easy-E - mainly because I've never gotten AIDS.
One F-Bomb equals serious assault on an officer. Not too concerned yet.
