By lunardi standards, does he have us as a 10? If we’re the 2nd “last 4 in” that would make us the last 10? Maybe. Idk.

He’s a moron. Did I mention that?

Calm down man. He has us as a last 4 byes. That’s pretty reasonable. You guys are nuts if you think think there’s no way we’re a 10. Bracket matrix is the gospel around here and they have us as the last 9 seed. Not really that far away.

That's idiotic. Why would he drop us down so much in a matter of a couple of days? Also our resume in that scenario compared to IU, ND and Rutgers is much better.

I guess we're being penalized for not having any games left to play. It's the new "Iowa State Metric".

Think most of it is the business of getting clicks. He need to drive people to his ranks with changes to help justify his role. We’re all very interested this week and want to see each win/loss changes ISU fortunes. If he didn’t move a bunch of teams ever 30 minutes we would know his name. Not really a knock all Bracketolgist are just playing the game and keeping their job.

Well to be fair a lot has changed since our 31 point blowout on Thursday. It does every year during championship weekend.

His job is also to be close with his predictions. ISU is obv in as a 9/10 seed. The resume with Rutgers is a decent comparison only Rutgers has some horrible losses that you don’t. Thankfully they got rid of weighing the second half of the season higher or there would be some cause for concern.

Oh if it was based on the last 10 games (or whatever it used to be) we wouldn't be close to the bubble. Thank God they changed that to make the entire season count.

Lol I’m not freaking out.

I stated before we are clearly in. All I said was by his standards does that put us at a 10. Thinking more it may put us at an 11.

If ISU is a 10 seed, I'll take it. If history serves, a 10 seed has a great opportunity to win in the first round, and do damage in the second.....a loose-playing 10 seed can cause problems for an opponent they do not know....just my two cents.....

Lunardi pats himself on the back for correctly predicting who gets in. He's never been able to brag on his seedings.

For my personal record, this season does not count as "sweating it out" on selection weekend. Personally, I've never had that feeling.

Now, had they lost just one of those 4 in row of TCU, WVU, OK, or KSt.... then I'd be sweating bullets with all the upsets in the conference tournaments.

I think it’s going to be a lot more sketchy than a lot of us seem to think. A lot of bubble teams and bid stealers having good conference tourneys
Nope. The committee was interviewed on CBS today and basically said the 1-10 seeds have been seeded and these tournaments really don't have all that much bearing on things except bid stealers...which we really aren't seeing much of compared to other years.

AGAIN, if the committee, who just three weeks ago showed that they value Q1 wins turns around and puts ISU in Dayton when they have the third most Q1 wins in the country...they're gonna have some serious explaining to do. Not happening.

Got a feeling we
Any chance we don’t get in? I think we’ll make it but won’t be surprised if we’re an 11 seed based on conference record and recent play.

Your question is a good one. I think we’re in, but wouldn’t be shocked if we get snubbed either. Virginia Tech just burst someone’s bubble. Indiana most likely will get an at-large too. Both teams before their conference tournament were on the outside looking in..
