Got a feeling we

Your question is a good one. I think we’re in, but wouldn’t be shocked if we get snubbed either. Virginia Tech just burst someone’s bubble. Indiana most likely will get an at-large too. Both teams before their conference tournament were on the outside looking in..
So you're clearly basing your overreaction on conference tournaments which the committee for YEARS has said don't have really any bearing on things. Why do this to yourself? There is literally no chance...NONE...we get left out. Go to bed.

Iowa State has too many Quad 1 wins to be snubbed.

Could some of these bid stealers like tamu, vatech, etc push out some of our closer competition and move isu up to a 7?? Probably wishful thinking on my part.

We’re in, I’m not worried. Imagine hearing this sales pitch, and saying No.

Undefeated in non conference, with wins over 3 teams playing in their high major conf tournament title games (big 10, big east, AAC) along with the 3rd most quad 1 wins in the entire country.

Sure, we haven’t looked the best of late, and if you were picking the 36 best at large teams right now, I’d be worried. But that’s not how it works (as far as I know).

I'm racking my brain trying to figure this one out... how would that work?

Lunardi has us as a #11 playing Boise State in Pittsburgh. I'd take that in a heartbeat.

If we won would probably play Tennessee in 2nd round.

ISU won't drop to an 11, so I'm not even going to think about that.

There is a possibility of Boise/ISU, but it'd be 7v10.

ISU will be a 9 or 10, IMO. Would prefer a 10, but either is fine. More concerned about the match up and not playing someone with a strong frontline.
