Lake Laverne update

If you’re building a bridge, put it high enough to cross LW as well. Need something for the pedestrian traffic crossing that all day and night.
That would probably add at least another mil to the project but I like your thinking

With the advancement of DNA technology, I'm genuinely concerned for some of you. You might want to move to a place of no extradition.
BRB while I google statute of limitations for like, 5 different things. For no reason at all. doing it for a friend

According to my father, he and others were placed on probation for wrapping up a dork in his bedsheets from Friley Hall and thrown into LL.

Every house did that, it was usually someone who joined a frat. Dodds does it best, which they moved west. Used to be right north of the Stanton Strokers and the Post Office.

I've heard this suggestion many times before, but I don't think it's practical. A bridge crossing Lincoln Way would have to be pretty high off the ground for large trucks and such to safely pass under.

That means you'd have to have long spiral ramps on each side for pedestrians and bicyclists to ascend on one side and descend on the other.

They tried this on the University of Iowa campus and learned students are very lazy. They'd much rather dodge the traffic and run across the busy street than climb up and down spiraling ramps.

Tunneling under Lincoln Way would seem a better idea to me, but I'm guessing they've already explored this option. I'm sure it would be extremely expensive.

Times change. Stuff that wasn't thought twice about now sends people spiraling. Some of that is good, some of it is not.
Many kids have died from bullying/hazing so I would say it’s definitely good to crack down on that stupid ****.

Feels like going under near Beech would be doable. May not be at the intersection, but near the bus stop should be far enough away. Would be useful for commuters as well as game days. But that’s obviously a different project then.

Near central campus would be difficult with the way that campus town has been developed with high rises right up to LW.
