FYI in local kxno airwaves, Ken Miller was not cut off. He mentioned how heart broken he was from the news and hated that it happened but didnt bash anyone. Also then explained how he and Trent were not employees thus still around.

I'm bummed that I won't get to hear Beer With Bruno. That was one of my favorite segments.

Also remember that Sean turned down a decent promotion at his bank to continue with the Morning Rush not that long ago. I'll miss a lot of local news outside of sports that I heard on KXNO. Definitely getting rid of iHeart.

I also won several contests from their website. Man, what a crappy thing for everyone.

The beer with Bruno thing was one of my least favorites to be honest especially when they started talking about something they were sampling in studio it doesn't do me much good to hear someone talk about something I am not drinking.

I'll miss Sean because while I find him to be a moron, his lack of common sense and getting worked up over dumb things or get fooled easily made for some entertaining radio and could make us all feel that much smarter. The marriage license bit in December had to been one of the funniest segments I have heard in awhile, he took the bait hook line and sinker. I'm sure he's a nice guy in person but man he sure is gullible and doesn't know when to just stop and admit it instead of digging a bigger hole for himself.

Not sure what I will do to fill the voids during my drive times now, both the Morning Rush and Sports Fanatics were great shows that filled that time for me. Even my wife who is not into sports talk radio started listening to the Morning Rush awhile back because she thought it was more entertaining to listen to than most other options on local radio.

I heard some of it over streaming and it was not bashing anyone, but it does seem odd that in the middle of it it randomly stopped working.

Seeing their tweets about their departure caused me to look back down their feeds a bit and reminded me how bad all this really sucks. Just last night they were watching and tweeting about the game just like us. Today, no job. Just crazy.

I don't understand why a person would do this, but to each their own. Maybe they truly do it for the fun of it.

I'm sure they get at least a portion of the add revenue from the show.

It's what Marty did, so they probably know the ins and outs of it (hopefully legally) but probably have to push the phones hard for advertisers.

You do know that in turn, they can sell ads on their show, thus underwriting their expenses?

right but it’s hard to believe they can make much money doing that.

People decided somewhere in the 1990s and the 2000s that they did not want to pay for print or electronic media somewhere. We are reaping what we sow.

Or just one of these --

You would have to have a REALLY old car not to have an AUX plug somewhere.

I have an 8 year old car with no Bluetooth or Aux port. The mid-run refresh on my model did introduce both though.

Mine is eight years old (model year 2013) and has all those bells and whistles, but it is the "sport package" that is supposed to have all that premium stuff.

My wife's car is the same make and model year but the "base" package. It has, at least, an AM/FM radio and an AUX cable with the cable to "fix" the issue.

I am surprised a car that age would not have at least an AUX in its base package.

It is a base model. For what I paid for it, radio is fine. But you are correct, its harder to find newer models without both of those options.

Beer with Bruno ran it's course about 5 years ago... I can only listen to him regurgitate the same s*** so many times.
