Odd that he would travel to KC, but not Milwaukee.Sounds about right. Only the most naive would think it’s actually about the injury. Granted, that’s a lot of CF, that also thought they were just song lyrics

Yes. Every team can lose, but we’ve played big games without big players and still won. We can still win even if he doesn’t play.
I'm not sure you understand how journalism works. I'm shocked how many people think beat reporters are supposed to be a fan of the team. What did they teach you guys in school?!
Randy Peterson has been a senile old man for at least a decade. I wouldn't take anything he says seriously.
What??? Lipsey in a boot???I choose to focus on how happy he looked heading to the bus/plane. With an iced coffee to boot.

I mean, this makes sense. Well documented that our players took less to stay ( or come in the first place). I can see this happening and now with players having some leverage( some times too much), make a demand or I’m not playing. If that happened, kudos to TJ for moving on.Now that he’s completely off the team, I’ll say what I’ve heard. I heard from 2 different people with sources (and no, I do not know who these sources are) that Keshons dad demanded additional money to play in the tournament. How much I don’t know. Obviously he was hurt and who knows how effective he’d be. But, I would bet that he would want to give it a try…whether it was this week or next week.
To me, an injury that isn’t seasonal ending like an acl or broken leg or requires immediate surgery, you usually see players as questionable or out indefinitely. Keep trying to rehab and see if he can go eventually. So, when they just flat shut him down, that raises questions. This rumor makes more sense than any other explanation I’ve heard.
I would guess this is between the dad and TJ and Keshon would rather play, but I have no idea.
You want to give those fast twitch muscles every possible hour to heal as much as possible. Common sense not to throw him out there for live speed practice. I wouldn't be surprised if early in the first game we see Lipsey deferring a lot on the offensive end of the floor. Keep that groin as healthy as possible. Break glass in case of emergency type of attitude.Lipsey is not live ball practicing per TJ, he is shooting fine though!
Sounds like both of your contacts have the same source. Now that he’s completely off the team, I’ll say what I’ve heard. Yes. Denied lol the two are best friends.Did we ever get any confirmation on the rumors of girl drama between Curtis Jones and Keshon Gilbert?
Point already made and taken. I understand it and have been reminded of it. Thank you.I'm not sure you understand how journalism works. I'm shocked how many people think beat reporters are supposed to be a fan of the team. What did they teach you guys in school?!

If this is true than the system is even broken further than I possibly imagined. Now that he’s completely off the team, I’ll say what I’ve heard. Hey, we finally agree on something 100%.The minute collectives were formed it was broken beyond repair.
NIL in theory is good, but NIL in reality in it's current form isn't NIL. Unfortunately the NCAA didn't put rules in place because they knew those rules would be challenged and overturned so it's a free for all. It is what it is and there's no going back now.
Vids or it didn’t happenDid we ever get any confirmation on the rumors of girl drama between Curtis Jones and Keshon Gilbert?
You need to check your reading comprehension. He is clearly carrying a chocolate smoothie. What??? Lipsey in a boot???
Once the revenue-sharing era begins, there's a good chance this issue will be weeded out (others, who knows). With schools effectively employing players out in the open, smart schools with even a bit of leverage (so, P4 schools, or at least ones competitive in their respective conferences) will include postseason participation in contracts, at least if they believe that matters. If this is true than the system is even broken further than I possibly imagined.
Im not sure if you saw this or not but he isnt playing in the tournamentCan someone summarize this for me? Why would he not be traveling with the team?
Hey, we finally agree on something 100%.
I just can't believe we've come this far where we've essentially got family members holding coaches and collectives hostage for money(if this rumor is true of course).
It's turned shady to very dark quickly, especially with some of the stuff I've been reading about the Devries situation. I don't think he's quite the Saint people make him out to be and it makes me question how he turned Drake around so fast.
To think his injury is so severe he can't even travel with the team away from Ames is crazy. I'm stupid but do we have some sort of rehab technology in Ames he doesn't have access to while traveling? Even if he's not playing you'd think he would want to be with the team. I hope I'm wrong and it's not an attitude thing, that would be disappointing.
Anyways I hope the team isn't getting too distracted, surely not more than us freaks on this forum lol
It's always something...
