Unless you just had surgery, not traveling with the team during the post-season is pretty abnormal. Making the post-season is a big deal to these guys, even if you’re not participating in the game, being apart of the experience and more importantly, with your team is valuable. Listen to Heise speak about it. More than fair to speculate what’s going on behind the scenes. This is a message board after all…

Oh I love comparing apples to oranges!

Completely different situation. wouldnt be just a week thing. Talk to me if Roberts or Flagg werent going to play at all.

I can all but guarantee you Flagg would be nowhere to be found as he would be prepping to be a top 3 NBA draft pick
LMAO if you dont think Flagg would be there with his teammates in person cheering them on if he had a season ending injury.

It does seem weird that he's not traveling with the team if all is well other than him being injured. You'd think the other guys would want him there and he'd want to be there to support them. I just hope whatever it is, the players are good and it's not a distraction for them. Hope they can rally and do something special. Go Clones!

So you heard from two people who claim to have sources inside the men’s program but you don’t know who those sources are? I mean, I can find a hundred “sources” who would testify under oath the Earth is flat or we faked the moon landing. Doesn’t mean it is true.

Maybe it is dad demanding money. Maybe it is Dad wanting his kid to get better. Maybe Dad isn’t involved at all. All we know is that he isn’t playing. Who cares as to why.

Most of the Flat Earthers probably live north of Ames.

It seems weird to me that you wouldn’t want or be able to be on the sidelines for the ncaa tourney. Who knows but I still feel like there’s more to this and maybe Gilbert is a big distraction to the team, if he wasn’t he’d be there

It's pretty obvious he is a distraction of some sort and was told to stay in Ames because of it. A lot of keyboard crusaders on here getting pissy trying to deny it. You don't leave a star senior player at home for the Big Dance unless he was hospitalized. Or he is being a major distraction.
