Back at what? Discussing issues relevant to the team right now? God forbid anyone talk about Iowa State basketball on the Iowa State basketball board.

If ISU loses, and it's due to turnovers or bad shooting or other things that are just basketball-related and trends across the season, I predict you will be back here sticking to the 'drama' piece.

Like in 2023, ISU lost to Pitt because they couldn't throw the ball in the ocean, but I'm pretty sure you've said it was due to the Grill drama when ISU actually put together three very solid Grill- free games before that. And it was a team decision for him to leave (I'd guess the KG situation has also included input from the team).

OR you'll tag Lipsey's injury for playing him too long against Cinci like he couldn't get hurt at any point before that or isn't a walking injury to begin with.

So any one know if Tamin's injury is a groin issue? I thought he was dealing with his hand and shoulder or is it all three?

Shoulder was last year and off-season, hand/thumb was earlier this year and groin was recent. I think he's mostly over the shoulder and thumb stuff but there could be some lingering issues.

yes it is a groin. Fingers crossed it was a slight pull instead of a severe one. And if he can go, hoping he doesn't aggravate it.

Link to me saying we got embarrassed all becuase of Caleb Grill? I'm not denying I said anything, but I'd like you to provide proof if you're going to make accusations.

I also haven't said a word about Lispey.

BTW, you're the guy on here that for years has been pre-emptively telling us all the ways we might lose to the next opponent and that basketball is "weird" so be prepared for losses.

You still haven't referenced me saying concretely how ISU will lose games.

I think I said your Hoks would win with their one wild night and think ISU's impatience on both ends has been a culprit.

You've referenced a bunch of 'drama' 3/4 seasons at tourney time under TJ. Are you not saying that the Grill stuff influenced how the '23 Pitt game turned out?

And why are you so pent up about the outcome for a team you have said you hate?

That's some 4D chess to imply I'm blaming tournament losses on Grill and Gilbert. I simply pointed how it's getting old already that when March rolls around we are dealing with some drama instead of hitting our stride for the tournament.

I fully understand anything can happen in March Madness, but you're a fool if you don't think a healthy and engaged Caleb Grill and Keshon Gilbert wouldn't have done anything to raise the ceiling substantially of those 2 teams in the NCAA tournament.

You have already said you hated this team so why do you care?

It’s not easy to find the balance of getting more out of players via elite effort/work, and peaking in March imo

The floor has been high because of how this culture is not for everyone. Taking plays off isn’t part of that culture, let alone minimizing games or practices.

I don’t think it’s coincidental injury was a part of both Grill and Gilbert situations
