Very true, you also have to remember in 2022 Tyrese Hunter was doing some backroom deals with Texas and was already on his way out by tournament time.

That's 3 years out of 4 already we've deal with some kind of drama at the worst time.

For a guy on his way out hitting those 7 threes in front of his family in the tourney game I was at was quite a step out the door.

Don't me started one the 5 assists, 6 boards and 3 steals the next round to help knock off Bucky in their back yard. So toxic!

Weren’t we 12-6 and second in the Big 12 that year? We were a tough team. Just played like absolute ass vs UAB.

UAB was basically the same game as South Carolina, Tech and another one I can't remember and it was a team that apparently had a few issues throughout the season culminating in drama at halftime or something.

Kinda like a guy in a contract year in the pros. Has their best performance before getting a pay day. Arguably may go down as his peak college moment

Would be stupid of him and his dad to sit out the NCAA tourney his senior year for what would maybe be 10's of thousands of dollars (if rumor true) when a good performance on this stage can get you a much bigger pro paycheck. Doesn't check out IMO. If he was only in it for money he could have transferred last year.

It's the worst run up since......checks notes.......2023 when the coaches had to kick a player off the team two weeks before March Madness..

This is the time of year the team needs to be rounding into form, not dealing with primadonnas.
