Same! Makes me ready for FallCurrently beer in hand, steak on grill. Heavenly.
Our basement used to be this way. Water level would come up and it would seem in from floor cracks and wall cracks. Dehumidifiers couldn't keep up.2.5 inches last night in Grimes (NW side of town)
With this rain and the last one, we got a little water in our basement. Not a ton, but enough to make the concrete floor wet along one wall. Not sure if these are anomalies or we need to see if there's a bigger issue. :-/

I know it rains and storms every few days in Iowa this spring/summer but not so much up north. Sliding back into drought after a 10 day run of little rain and 90° temps. Got few days repriieve on temps and than back to 90°s agin.
Kossuth, Winnebago, and Hancock are in that brown moderate drought bubble on the map. Hills are in trouble but overall we still look good. A few 1 inch rains would be good though.Be careful with this rain talk. My last rain was the 4th of July. I could use a good rain. There are spots close to my fields that are probably gone for this year. Now they burn up a lot, but they are gone for this year.
