*** Kansas Pregame Thread ***

If I am Mouser, I am leaning on the run game in this one. Kansas has the third worst run defense in the Big 12, and the fourth worst red zone defense in the conference as well. Establishing a run game to set up the pass would be the move here and the Jayhawks aren't exactly ball hawks either with just four picks on the year.

As for their offense, that will be the tough test for Iowa State. Jalon Daniels has done a much better job taking care of the football this season and has been fairly accurate as well. Outside of Emmanuel Henderson Jr. who has breakaway speed, they don't have another skill guy that wows me. Their run game is mediocre at best. I believe Iowa State can control the flow of the game on the ground.

I sure hope we have a crowd that shows up. I've noticed the Ticket Exchange has seemed to have low activity and prices are dropping when tickets don't sell. Also, are students still in town after Friday?

Could be wrong but have a feeling a good amount will have left town before Saturday.

Yeah, I'm going to be out of town and there has been very little interest in my available four tickets and parking pass.

I just want to see the yellow pants again, superstition can't hurt a team that's been so up and down this season

I agree. Kansas is going to sell out on the run early. The passing game doesn't need to carve Kansas up all afternoon, but it has to be capable of spreading the defense out and converting some 3rd and 5s, 3rd and 6s
And make a couple of big strikes when they sell out to stop the run.

ISU needs to start a new tradition this game with Narco by Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet on 3rd down instead of the regularly scheduled screeching to get on your feet! It might freak KU out thinking they are @ Mizzou!

I bet the student section will be especially lean but the crowd size in general will be better than people think.
