When Burkle's injury happened, I immediately assumed he is done for the season. It was a very reckless tackle in my opinion, no different than an illegal chop block. Burkle was engaged high and the other defender went straight for his knee.

Leipold seems to have CMC's number as of late. My hope is we can get the monkey off our back after a few years of dropping games to them. Feels like that TCU win could be a sign that we are recovering from a tailspin. I'm hoping the Bye week gives us a chance for the old Rocco to come back. I agree. Kansas is going to sell out on the run early. The passing game doesn't need to carve Kansas up all afternoon, but it has to be capable of spreading the defense out and converting some 3rd and 5s, 3rd and 6s
