Williams will be the first pick in this draft, so you have to go to teams that already have their QB for the future, Carolina, Chicago, and Houston, are all teams that drafted a QB last year, and still are horrible. Guess what they are going to be bad next year too. Why, not enough quality players, you go to those teams and few others, that do not need a QB, and say "do you want to rebuild next year with your 7/8 picks, or would you be better off doubling that number to 13/14 picks?"
The Chiefs are the 3rd youngest roster in the league, they are young at LB, and the defensive backfield, we have two young players on the D line. The O line is also young, as well has the RB's and WR's. We need quality not good players but great ones. We are going to pick in the last 3/4 picks in the draft, that player will not be there. You either use the capital you have, draft picks, or hope that you can find another diamond in the rough like we did Pacheco.
Now is the time for the Chiefs to be bold, and go out and get two great players, a WR and a rush end. If saves money that we can then give to our existing players to keep, and prolongs the window to Super Bowls.
