It still bugs me. He's like a puppy that can't wait for you to place the bowl of food on the floor. Good grief. He's trying to get them to get the play into his headset. Been doing that forever.

Agree. Two stupid reverses one third and one, and 2nd one both were drive killers. I hate taking the ball out of Mahomes hands in that situation. One I understand but the second was a mistake by Reid. The 2nd/3rd and short play calls were ass.
Drops were one thing and can be fixed, but there were 0 receivers getting open most of the night. Seemed like Mahomes had plenty of time, but nowhere to go.
Bingo. I don't miss JuJu specifically but I will miss his body type. We don't have a thick WR. They're all tall and skinny or short. We have 3 of the best interior lineman in the NFL and Pacheco, we should be able to get short yardage conversions easily. Hopefully Ross can turn into that possession we need. We have too many of the same body type of receiver. Chiefs need to figure out the offense without a superstar tight end cuz Kelce could drop off any time. Plus they are going to have to start to pay some these young defensive guys in the next couple of years.
Toney and Moore had 8 targets which amounted for one catch for one yard. Talk about a bad night, but that is unbelievable.
Lot of talk today about the Chiefs tackles getting to line up deep in the backfield, but if the refs had a problem with it, then they need to call it. That is on the refs, not on the Chiefs, a quality player will take what he can get away with and keep doing it until he is flagged for it. I thought there were a few late hits on Mahomes, but it doesn't change the game.
Chiefs had the game there to win, they just have to catch the damn ball.
People have caught on to the Bell thing but should still be able to get 1 yard. And if you don't want to run a QB sneak with Mahomes, just take him out for a play and put Bell in and have him fall forward. Oklahoma was able to do that. Never understood with getting cute our "tricking" teams with Bell in motion. Just line up and do the damn thing.
My biggest complaint about Andy Reid is there are times when the staff lets their ego get in the way of just calling the game. We have too many cute plays trying to get everyone talking about what a great play call that was instead of just getting a first down. Case in point last night, 2nd and 1 inside the Lions 30, and we run basically a double reverse that gets toasted for a 3 yard loss. How about when we are up by three, get Mahomes under center and use the best three interior lineman in the league to just run right at them and get the first down.
The funny thing is Jones said he learned from Bell what to do lolI've said it here before, players should have taken notice of how things played out for Le'Veon Bell when he held out. He not only lost a bunch of earnings but didn't get the contract he thought he could and eventually was out of the league not long after he was in his peak years. You not only get labeled a headcase but the older you get and the less you are on the field the chance of landing that big contract after sitting out dwindles away the longer you hold your ground.
That was the single worst game I’ve ever seen from an NFL WR. And it’s not even close.Toney really crapped the bed along with other guys dropping passes. That could have been a blowout if guys just caught passes.
