NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

This makes me chuckle at the posters in the NFL thread saying the refs are affecting the game.

Yes, because the refs are responsible for the chiefs driving all the way down the field just now….

Also, I’m kinda over Butker

I think it's time to cut Butker loose. He has been terrible this year and has a hand in 2 losses. Can't have a kicker like that.

Just a boneheaded last drive by every aspect of that team. Butkers kick out of bounds, defense forgetting how to tackle, and brown capped it off by not even looking for the ******* ball

The penalty on the kickoff was the killer. The drive that cost them the game was the one after the pick 6 where Mahomes was obsessed with just erasing the pick with a home run td pass.

Jags won, so it doesn't matter. But KC scored a TD on an Offensive PI that was changed after Mahomes talked to the refs, and the Jags had an interception on a play where defensive PI was not called. Those were two HUGE no-calls that benefitted the Chiefs. Even the booth ref thought those were penalties that should have been called.

This happens in almost every game you watch. You are just blinded by your hatred of KC. Enough with the conspiracy theory ****.

That qualifies as a bad loss, just how many penalties can the special teams make over and over? For as much pressure as we put on Lawrence he seemed to get the ball out or split the rush and got up field. Have to give him credit he throw 2 perfect passes when he needed them on the last drive.

Nope. Don't hate the Chiefs. Indifferent actually. Yes, questionable calls happen in every game (for and against the Chiefs). Just pointing out (in response to a Chiefs fan claiming that penalties did not impact the game) that those two penalties that were not called (and one had the flag picked up for goodness sakes) had a huge impact on scoring in the game. They were not penalties in the middle of the field that just stopped a possession. I personally don't care that they were not called and not hard-coded about the penalties being worthy or not, but the booth ref appeared to think they were both penalties. The two no calls both directly led to Chiefs TDs. Perhaps, the booth ref is the Chiefs hater. :)
