Yep, the only way to stop him is to beat the **** out of him or flop when he drives. Refs swallow their whistle on the former, and always will screw up a few block-charge calls. Kane should really shoot 15 FTs a game.
Kane gets a little out of control sometimes and refs won't call fouls as often if they think that's the case. Not that I'd want Kane to change anything, his aggressiveness is what makes him great, you just can't expect him to get a call every time he gets contact on a drive.
The block/charge he's going to get some bad calls. It's more when he gets obviously hacked across the arms with no call. It's a foul, there's no judgement about it. He's not selling anything, he's attacking and getting hacked.
A hard hit on the chin jams your TMJ (joint of the jaw) and hurts right in front of the ear. That is why Kane looked like he was grabbing his ear.
I would like to see Kane start getting the calls like Michael Jordan according to "the Jordan rules." Jordan always bounced off someone, made the shot on the way down, then made the free throw. Kane doesn't get as many calls when he goes all the way and out of bounds.
How is he not on draft boards as a first round pick? The guy has pretty much dominated good guards all year. Who cares if he is 24 the guy can play and is NBA ready.
If I am a playoff team with a late first round pick this is a NO BRAINIER! He will instantly be able to help out and make a team better.
